Kids helping MEE to Build A Well

What an incredible journey! MEE is astounded at the support from one little, yet amazing community, Malibu, California. Young and old, and in-between have committed their support through donations, caring, enthusiasm, and open hearted love. Thank you Malibu. Donations keep coming, and we are now at $1,734.39, and on our way to seeing a community of children receiving life giving water. MEE'S SMILE just keeps growing bigger and bigger. Check out this awesome article that Malibu Times published. Thank you Malibu Times! Love & Gratitude to each and every person that has blessed this project with such love. http://http://www.malibutimes.com/articles/2010/08/01/malibu_life/people/people7.txt

EVERY PENNY HELPS BUILD THE WELL

Give a penny...you may think a penny is a very small amount...but penny upon penny is helping to build our well. Our friend, Norman, arrived yesterday with his oatmeal container filled with change, to be donated for the well. Quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies all flowed out upon the carpet. His act of kindness procured more than $70 for the well. How amazing! Look for your pennies and donate them. Those pennies will help us. Did you know that just $10 provides clean for one person for 10 years. That is just 1,000 pennies. Thank you for your continued support. Peace and blessings. Love MEE

KIWI HELP FROM DOWN UNDER!

WOW! KIWI dollars come to help MEE BUILD THE WELL. From way down in the South Pacific contributions for the well arrive. What a grand journey this is. MEE is energized by the generosity of others to help make this dream a reality. "It takes a village" is apt. How wonderful it is to see hand upon hand joining together to help. Every day the world changes through the love and compassion of each person to do something for someone else to change their life for the better. How utterly amazing our world is. Thank you everyone for taking the time to donate, to offer words of encouragement, to help build this well. MEE focuses on the end result, the joy of seeing these beautiful children have clean, safe, drinking water; to know that their quality of life will be changed forever. Love and Gratitude, MEE

HELP MEE BUILD A WELL FOR EMILY.

When I woke from the dream with Sierra Leone and pretty purple flowers all around me, I knew the well was to be built at a school in Sierra Leone, Africa, and that the well would be for Emily Rose Shane. To me, Emily was a gentle child, filled with spontaneous dancing joy, love, and kindness. Ever since she died, I've felt her sweet, loving, dancing presence guiding me to do what is in my heart's desire. To make the world a more beautiful place through loving acts of kindness. Emily's spirit is larger than life, and the well will be a tribute to her, and memorialized as "Emily's Well." Her love will surround the children of the school in Sierra Leone where the well will be built, and bless the children's lives, and those in the surrounding communities with clean, life giving water. Every drop of water will be a reminder of Emily's love, and a testament to her life. Her kindness will touch the lives of children far away across the globe in a little school in Africa. Thank you Emily for guiding me to help make a difference in this world. "Gratitude takes these forms: a feeling of the heart, an expression in words, and a giving in return."

MEE'S JOURNEY FLOWS WITH THE POWER OF LOVE!

"Gratitude takes these forms: a feeling of the heart, an expression in words, and a giving in return."

Once again MEE is astonished by the power that is generated through a labor of love. As each little MEE KID doll is lovingly hand made, he knows that there is a fusion of love that is integrated in heart and mind that allows the flow of this well to be built. He thanks everyone for their kind donations. Between drumming circle and church today, we now have $759.00

For this week only, Tori Eldridge is giving 20% towards the well from products sold this week. Check out her amazing website DragonAttire.com. Thank you Tori.

MEE'S JOURNEY CONTINUES!

What an amazing journey! Already $371.00 raised. The support from everyone is incredible. The ideas flow on how to raise the money for the well. Little buckets of Love are created. Every stitch a labor of love. We have an African MEE KID boy, an African MEE KID girl, an Original MEE, a Baby-U, and a Baby-U2. 10% of all MEE FAMILY products is donated to The Water Project.

On June 9th and 10th, MEE holds a mini fundraiser at Juan Cabrillo Elementary school. Everyone is encouraged to join the MEE TEAM in supporting the water well to be built. $246.00 was raised over 2 days. Everybody loved the sign, but after 2 hours the duct tape gave way and the whole sign collapsed. But thanks to a little third grade boy, Nathan, things were soon back together again. Little, by little the momentum is growing. It is a wonderful feeling to know that little children at a school in Sierra Leone will have access to clean water, that their lives will be changed forever because of the kindness of others.

MEE'S JOURNEY CONTINUES...

May 10th
When MEE decided to take a stand to do something to help alleviate the struggles of the African people who lack clean, safe drinking water, all things began to align up for this happen. He now joins The Water Project, a nonprofit committed to providing clean water to those who suffer needlessly without it. The Water Project works with local partners to drill fresh water wells in areas where there is no access to clean water.
May 11th
MEE wakes up from a dream with tiny, pretty, purple violets and the name Sierra Leone in his heart. He begins to research more about Sierra Leone finding out that it is one of the poorest countries in the world with one of the highest infant mortality rates. Somehow he is drawn to this place and knows that the well will be built at a school here. In a lot of cases there are holes in the ground, but no way to access the water. In most cases it means a complete reconstruction of a well. Other countries that TWP build wells at schools are in Sudan and Kenya.
May 15th
MEE is invited by Ann Lambert to share his African MEE KID dolls in a BUCKET of LOVE with the women's drumming circle. They were well received, and the encouragement given prompts his heart to flourish and well up with love for this incredible journey he feels is his to experience as he listens to the desires of his heart. The drumming circle is an incredible experience, truly connecting the soul's energy to the highest vibration of love. MEE smiles as his journey begins to bloom and blossom. Where will it take him next?

HELP MEE BUILD A WELL

Today is May 7th, 2010 and MEE has decided to build a well at a school in Africa. To do this he has to raise approximately $5,000-$6,000, but he is inspired to do this as he believes that every person on this planet deserves to have the basic necessities of life, water being the most important to life. "Every 15 seconds a child dies because of a lack of sanitation. A billion people on our planet will never have a clean drink of water. Just $25 will give someone clean water for life-yes, just $25 will change someone's future forever."Future blogs will update his progress as well as give you the opportunity to support his cause. MEE's family, the MEE FAMILY, are behind him 100%.
